14 Women Named to Corporate Board of Directors August 2010

Fourteen women were appointed to corporate Boards of Directors this past August, an increase from July 2010 but less than the 17 women appointd in August 2009. Major companies appointing women to Boards in August, 2010 included TD Ameritrade, Huntington Bancshares, Primerica, Massey Energy, Express Inc., Lord Corporation - who appointed Uma Chowdhry  (pictured), the Senior Vice President and Chief Science and Technology Officer at DuPont, to its Board, and Manpower Inc.
