Dr. Susan Froshauer Made CEO of CURE (Connecticut United for Research Excellence).

CURE (Connecticut United for Research Excellence) appointed Dr. Susan Froshauer President and Chief Executive Officer. Susan, who holds a  Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Harvard, had been the Director of the Technology Exchange Portal at the University of Connecticut's Office of Economic Development, and before that  had been President and CEO of Rib-X Pharmaceuticals which she co-founded. At Rib-X, she raised $160 million in private equity, bridge financing and government grants and built a pipeline of antibiotics to treat serious hospital infections.
