Sheryl WuDunn, Co-Author of "Half the Sky", announces the "Half the Sky Game" to Raise Awareness to empower Women and Girls around the World.

Sheryl WuDunn and Nicholas Kristof, Pulitzer-Prize winning authors, announced a web-based game as the latest installment of the "Half the Sky Movement". "Half the Sky Movement: The Game" is a game-based adventure to raise awareness and donations to empower women and girls around the world. Players can collect books for young girls in the virtual world which activates a real-life donation to "Room to Read" supported by the Pearson Foundation. Players can also trigger funding from Johnson and Johnson for life transforming surgeries. And players can choose to make personal donations to any of the game’s nonprofit partners at any point throughout the game. Read more on halfthesky.org.
